Over the sea in France!

Wow! It has been about a week and a half since I left for juniors abroad and I have just been loving the country of France. Our trip spent the first four days in Paris, exploring the city and all that it has to behold like the great monuments of the Louvre, the Arc de Triumphe, and the Eiffel Tower, just to name a few. My feet were pretty much killing me after just those four days and it has been great to find myself on a boat for the rest of the trip.

Boat life has been interesting, we have been on since Saturday. After getting used to marine toilets and showers, it has been smoothe sailing from there. Other than working the locks we have had a lot of time to just lie on the boat, listening to the sounds of the surrounding birds, and relaxing in the heat of the sun, needless to say I've gotten slightly burnt/tan.

It has also been such a great experience getting to know the different feels of each town and having the ability to explore each one and all that they have to offer by bike. Many offer run-down cathedrals and one with pools of water that are bright blue and so deep that they don't know where the water flows from. Well, I better get off. We are heading out soon for another town downriver. I hope that you all are doing well and that you are being blessed by His presence that surrounds you!

Many Blessings,
Rachael
